Historical Examples of Ignored Divine Warnings

• The Israelites: The Israelites ignored warnings from God’s prophets, including Jeremiah, who told them that God would punish them if they continued to worship idols. The Israelites were eventually taken captive by the Babylonians, as God predicted.
• King Ahab: King Ahab of Israel ignored God’s advice and went to war against Ramoth Gilead, despite a prophet warning him that he would die in battle. Ahab died on the first day of battle.
• Noah: Noah warned the world of a coming flood, but the world ignored his warnings and was caught off guard when the flood came.

The Impending Judgment and the Second Coming
