Prophetic Word: Getting Through the Tunnel
This prophetic word is titled Getting Through the Tunnel. In the prophetic word for 2022, I gave you the picture of us going through a very dark tunnel and the goal is for us to get to the end of the tunnel by focusing on the light.
Who is this word for?
This message is for the people who are feeling stuck right now. All you see around you is darkness. You are not feeling very hopeful, you don’t feel good about how things are going and you’re not sure how to move forward. He’s saying that some of you are focusing on the darkness in the tunnel a little bit too much and as a result it is causing you to be stuck.
The Reality of Darkness and the Media
Is it dark, yes! We can all see it. There are some pretty bad things that are happening right now and will continue to happen throughout 2022. This is a fact. However, focusing on the darkness is not making it go away. You are actually making it worse for yourself by focusing on the darkness. It is the job of the media to get people riled up. Fear and division is a money maker so you NEED to guard your heart. Your only way out of this is not to be influenced by negativity.
Overcoming the Enemy's Distractions
The Lord is showing me some of you are riding in that train and instead of looking forward to where you are going you are paying attention to what is going on outside on the sidelines. These are the little distractions that the enemy is using in this hour to get people stuck. He’s making sure you live in doubt, fear, unbelief, division and unforgiveness. The enemy knows that whatever you focus on will appear bigger and bigger and bigger until everything else around it vanishes.
The Importance of Spiritual Focus
Whatever is captivating your mind, your thoughts, whatever has your full an undivided attention is going to dictate your peace or lack thereof. Where is your mind stayed? What are you focused on? After a while you are not even going to see the good that God is doing because you are so focused on that darkness.
As written in Isaiah 26:3-4 NKJV:
“You will keep him in perfect peace, w hose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.“
The Magnification Principle
Here is a simple test to show you how your mind works. Whatever you focus on gets magnified and everything else vanishes! This is how your brain works! Whatever you allow in to captivate your mind and your thoughts takes over. This is why it says in Psalm 34:3: “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.”
To understand what it means to magnify the Lord, we look at the Hebrew root:

Drowning Out Negative Voices
Make God bigger. Focus on Him and what He told you. When you do this, I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.
Focus on the Light so that your face will become radiant. Not darkness, so that you become depressed. If it is someone that you are listening to that keeps bringing you into that pit, then you need to cut it off. Shut down and drown out the negative voices. Keep the darkness outside the train, which in turn keeps those hooks out of you. You are just passing through that tunnel.
