Prayer for Protection During a Hurricane
God of mercy and power, as storms approach and winds begin to rise, we pray for all who stand in harm’s way, for families, the elderly, the poor and the afraid. Protect our Passionist communities and all who serve in your name. Strengthen them to bring comfort, hope and protection to those who suffer and those who help. Calm the storm within and around us. When the winds have passed, guide our hearts and hands to rebuild with faith, courage and love. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
