Kenneth Copeland Bible College Student Miraculously Healed of Cancer
Nathaniel “Nate” Ellis is no stranger to difficult life circumstances. Following a devastating divorce that essentially left him homeless, he was then given a potential death sentence that required being healed of cancer to fix it. He was a relatively new Christian, but he believed the Lord put it on his heart to move to Texas to enroll in the school.
Faith and Sacrifice
“I left everything I knew behind to come to Texas,” said Ellis. It was that sacrifice that the Lord used to bless him for putting God first. Things were lining up nicely for Ellis as a student at Kenneth Copeland Bible College (KCBC). He knew he was exactly where the Lord had led him; he had a good job working for Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM) as a licensed prayer minister, and he had a great community surrounding him. Life was good.
An Unexpected Diagnosis
During his first semester as a student at KCBC, he visited the doctor for a regular checkup. He had no idea that being healed of cancer was something he’d ever have to tackle with faith. “They did a CT scan and found a mass in my gut,” recalled Ellis. Cancer.
“I was pretty much at my lowest after hearing that news, and it kind of scared me because I’ve had some family go through cancer.” However, Ellis made the choice to give the worry and fear to the Lord. He stated: “I said to Him, ‘You know exactly what I need. I believe I’ll be healed of cancer. I refuse to live in fear.’”
The Miraculous Healing Process
Kenneth and Gloria Copeland’s granddaughter, Jenny Papapostolou, was preaching at the KCBC chapel service. When the Anointing of God showed up, she laid hands on Ellis and declared that he was healed of cancer and restored. After that, Ellis went online and downloaded Keith Moore’s 101 Things God Said About Healing.
“I made the healing scriptures so evident in my face that I couldn’t not see them,” said Ellis. Within a week he went back to the same doctor’s office to get another CT scan, and he was told that the cancerous mass was gone. “Being completely healed from cancer encouraged me to the point where I was even ministering to the nurses and my caseworker,” Ellis joyfully recalled.

Walking in Victory
Today, Nate Ellis believes that being enrolled at KCBC was paramount for experiencing this miracle. Having a dose of the Word of God each day in class helped him not be overcome with fear. “KCBC will definitely give you more than enough to equip you with what you need; not only for today, not only for tomorrow or next week, but for your future,” said Ellis.
Ellis confidently stated that he is the most prosperous he’s ever been in his life. “The Lord knew exactly what I needed,” concluded Ellis.
