The School of Healing Prayer Program at Hope in the Desert

Prayer is powerful. Our program is patterned after The Christian Healing Ministry (CHM) School of Healing Prayer in Jacksonville, Florida founded in 1980 by Francis and Judith MacNutt as they sought to advance our Lord’s ministry of healing through prayer.

Training Schedule and Course Levels

All training will take place at Hope in the Desert Episcopal Church. The following classes will be offered throughout 2026:

• Level I class will be offered Monday, Feb. 9 - Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026. Application
• Level II class will be offered Monday, May 11 - Thursday, May 14, 2026. Application
• Level III class will be offered Monday, August 10 - Thursday, August 13, 2026. Application
• Level IV class will be offered Monday, Nov. 9 - Thursday, Nov. 12, 2026. Application
