The Ministry of Christian Healing and Discipleship Community

Many people want to learn more about how to pray for the sick, or even how to lead a prayer team in their church, but feel some natural apprehension on starting off on their own. This course will teach you basic things about how you can pray with the sick either informally with loved ones or as part of a church healing team. We will look at such topics as why and how God commands us to pray with others.

The Biblical Foundation for Healing

The Bible makes it clear that while there are people specially gifted and called in the healing ministry, any Christian can pray for the sick. While this is true, we want to do good, not harm, as we pray for others. We also want to grow in Christ as we pray for others and we will learn about the important aspects of caring for ourselves and the others in our prayer team. The session on inner healing can help us learn how to experience healing ourselves as we help others draw closer to Christ.

Christian Healing UK Network

Christian Healing UK is a network of Christian healing organisations and healing advisors across the UK. It is based on mutual support, respect and friendship. The ministry of each organisation is unique, and there is considerable difference in style. All of us are united in our desire to bring Christ’s healing ministry to those in need. Christian Healing UK is a new title for this gathering and reflects a re-focussing of our vision to:

  • Provide a forum for the leaders of Christian healing organisations to come together in mutual respect and understanding to further this ministry throughout our land.
  • Become a national voice speaking out on matters concerning Christian healing.
  • Reflect the biblical principle that when we work together as a body we are more effective than individual members.
  • Establish a programme of regional meetings to act as a source of encouragement and support to all those involved in the healing ministry, regardless of whether or not they are in leadership.

Local Community and Events

We are located just south of Jacksonville, Florida, in beautiful North St. Johns County. Join us for Sunday morning worship at La Venture Grove in Switzerland, Florida, with occasional gatherings off-site. We’d love for you to be part of these special moments:
