The School of Healing Prayer at Hope in the Desert
Prayer is powerful. Our program is patterned after The Christian Healing Ministry (CHM) School of Healing Prayer in Jacksonville, Florida founded in 1980 by Francis and Judith MacNutt as they sought to advance our Lord’s ministry of healing through prayer.
About Our Community
Hope in the Desert is an intergenerational, Christ-centered community that welcomes everyone, no matter where you are in your spiritual search. We trust that you will feel God's joyful presence in our church and in its people.
2026 Training Schedule
All training will take place at Hope in the Desert Episcopal Church. The following classes are scheduled for the 2026 calendar year:
