Healing and Deliverance: Biblical Foundations and Practical Ministry

Healing and Deliverance – Life Leadership Bible School offers a biblical and practical exploration of healing and deliverance ministry as part of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Students will study the scriptural foundations for divine healing and spiritual deliverance, examining how God restores the body, soul, and spirit through the power of the Holy Spirit. This course covers the ministry of Jesus and the early Church, the authority of the believer, and the role of faith, prayer, and the anointing in setting captives free.

The Healing Ministry of Jesus and the Early Church

To understand this ministry, we must study the miracles, compassion, and authority of Christ, and how the apostles continued His work through the Holy Spirit. One day, Jesus, on leaving the synagogue went with His disciples to the house of one of his apostles, Peter. There they found Peter’s mother-in-law confined to bed with a fever. He touched her, commanded the fever to leave her and she was healed on the spot. At the end of the Sabbath, they brought all their sick to receive their share of this unexpected good fortune. Jesus obliged them and the Scriptures tell us that he placed His hands on every single one of them and healed them from sickness and affliction by demons.

According to Isaiah, Jesus would bring healing of sickness and disease as part of His work of redemption. Those who lived in His day were experiencing it even in advance of the cross; how much more should we experience it after the cross and resurrection?

  • Authority of the Believer: Understand the believer’s God-given authority over sickness, sin, and demonic oppression through the name and power of Jesus.
  • Practical Ministry: Learn scriptural methods for ministering healing, discerning spiritual bondage, and leading people into freedom with love and wisdom.
  • Maintaining Freedom and Wholeness: Discover how to help individuals walk in sustained victory through discipleship, renewal of the mind, and the fullness of the Spirit.

Day One: Your Spiritual Authority

Dive into the depths of Scripture as we explore the profound concept of spiritual authority bestowed upon every believer. Discover how to wield this authority effectively in prayer, warfare, and everyday life, as we delve into key principles and practical applications. Key learning points include:

  • Destroy Witchcraft

Day Two: Identifying Demonic Attacks

From subtle influences to overt manifestations, this class delves deep into understanding the tactics of the enemy and provides practical strategies rooted in biblical truth. Key learning points include:

  • Demonology
  • Training in Effective Spiritual Warfare

The Role of Faith and Personal Devotion

Students will also gain discernment in ministering deliverance responsibly and compassionately, grounded in biblical truth and led by the Holy Spirit. The physical act of faith is real in the spiritual realm. I have learned to pray the words of God for healing by faith and receive healing; I live by faith in the words of God. We walk by faith, by the Spirit and by the Word of God in the Bible. It is essential to focus on Him and not on ourselves, kneeling down to worship and proclaim the greatness of God and His worthiness to be worshipped and praised.
