FTAM Global Evangelical Missions: Outreach and Discipleship Focus
Grace, Peace and Mercy be upon you in Jesus’ name, amen. FTAM Evangelical has resumed monthly global evangelism. As each team member in various locations ‘travel’ all around like the Apostles of old to win souls from manipulative powers, we ask that you shower us with prayers and words of encouragement so that we may accomplish that which the Holy Spirit has instilled in us until the end of the year 2025, Amen. We pray that the fire of God will go before us and be our rear-end in Jesus’ name, Amen.
The Significance and Power of the Name
In Scripture, a name often connotes purpose, authority, makeup, and character. In fact, a person’s name is frequently seen as equivalent to that person. In the Bible, ‘name’ is a translation of the Hebrew word shem (in the Old Testament) and the Greek word onoma (in the New Testament). Together, ‘name’ appears more than 1000 times in the Scripture and routinely carries with it the idea of power, responsibility, purpose, and authority. A name not only expresses the essence and significance of what is being named but also when duly authorized, accesses the quality it conveys. God has various names that reflect the many ways He relates to humanity. For example, God is called Elohim when revealing Himself as the all-powerful Creator. He is Jehovah Rapha – the Lord your healer.
Strategic Outreach Timeline and Soul Harvest
August: Community Evangelism and Discipleship Drive. The month of August was dedicated to strengthening community outreach efforts. Our evangelism team conducted open-air ministrations, house-to-house witnessing, and follow-up sessions for new converts. The initiative resulted in several souls won to Christ and the establishment of new discipleship connections.
September: Expansion and Soul Harvest Initiative. In September, our evangelism focus expanded to new areas, with remarkable testimonies of salvation and transformation. The team’s commitment to the “Harvest of Souls” campaign led to a notable increase in participation and strengthened collaboration among our local mission partners.
October: Inner-City and Rural Missions Outreach. October marked a significant phase in our outreach program, emphasizing missions to underserved communities and inner-city regions. Through the distribution of tracts, public gospel campaigns, and compassionate ministry efforts, many were reached with the message of hope in Christ Jesus.
November: Consolidation and Discipleship Follow-Up. For November, our focus remains on consolidating the results of previous outreaches. Follow-up visits, discipleship training, and mentorship programs are being implemented to ensure that new believers are grounded in the Word and integrated into fellowship groups for continuous growth.
