3 Days Fasting and Prayer for Spiritual Breakthrough

3 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER FOR NOVEMBER 25th, 26th & 27th 2022. SCRIPTURE: Mark 9:29 “So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.” Precious saints no matter what you may be passing through at this time Jesus is still Lord. Whether you are passing through trials, tribulations or some habitual sin that needs breaking free from, then you have come to the right place today because no matter what it may be fasting, and prayer is key to your spiritual breakthroughs.

The Purpose of Fasting and Humility

See when you fast, you learn a lot about yourself, for one you learn how weak and little you are in your own strength. Because you will get hungry, thirsty, and your pride goes to zero, your vanity is burst, your self-esteem gets shattered. So, it can be an all-round humbling experience, when done by the Holy Spirits leading. See the purpose for fasting is to crucify the flesh and HUMBLE the self in us all.

When fasting is done with a humble heart that seeks God, it will always pay spiritual dividends. But when fast is done with a prideful, self-righteous attitude it will not produce the needed miracles, breakthroughs, victory, success, and triumph! I do not fast to become more powerful, to show off the anointing, rather that I decrease and that Christ increase.

Overcoming Through Christ

Maybe right now you are at the point of giving up and throwing in the towel. Do you sometimes feel like quitting precious saints? Maybe you have uttered these words, “I can’t do it or it’s just too hard!”? Philippians 4:13 provides the answer: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” The word for “do” in this verse is the Greek word ischuo (number 2480 in Strong's Concordance). Below are the definitions regarding this spiritual strength:

  • Ischuo: To have or exercise force, be able, avail, can do, prevail, be of strength, be whole.
  • Ischus (Root): Force, forcefulness, ability, might, power, strength.
  • Thayer's Definition: To be strong, to be robust and in sound health, to have power, to exert, wield power, evidenced in extraordinary deeds, to have strength to overcome.

The Sanctification of the Bride

See no trial that you may ever face is wasted, for God is using that trial to perfect His work within side of you through the power of the Holy Spirit. He is coming back for spotless bride that is awaiting the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that coming day is drawing closer day by day and there isn't any time to waste in overcoming our sins and faults, and having our character perfected and polished! For He is very busy preparing the "bride" for the up-coming wedding, and so He is sanctifying us, setting us apart, and cleansing us "with the washing of water by the Word, that he might present us to himself a glorious church (bride), not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing," but that we should be "holy and without blemish" (Eph.5:25-27).

Revelation 21:7 reminds us: “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.” So, do you believe that you can accomplish, prevail, conquer, overcome, and do all these things through Christ?
