When Was Jesus Christ Born? The Bible Says September 11, 3BC-The Day of the Feast of Trumpets

The birth of Jesus Christ is the one of the most significant events in all of history and when we understand the truths regarding the true date of his birth it will thrill and inspire your heart. Tradition has made December 25th the birthday of Jesus. but the Bible clearly reveals he was not born on that day. It was not until the 4th century after Christ that December 25th began to be celebrated as the day of Christ’s birth. It was the old pagan holiday celebrating the winter solstice and the birth of the sun god and celebrated when the days began to get longer. In Rome it was the festival called Saturnalia and later the Roman Empire baptized it and began to celebrate it as the birth of Jesus. All biblical scholars know that Jesus was not born on December 25th. Tradition is never an accurate measurement for truth.

God has a significant meaning in everything He does and this does not exclude the birth of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. The subject of the entire Bible is Jesus Christ and his first coming was prophesied first in the book of Genesis right after Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. This prophecy of the future coming of Christ became the polestar of the Old Testament. When it seemed that all was lost and the devil had succeeded in ruining Adam and Eve, God promised a coming Savior, who will redeem mankind from the penalty of sin and ultimately crush the devil into oblivion. This was a promise of hope, goodness, and salvation, as God would not leave the world helpless, but would give them His only begotten Son. What a God of love and goodness to promise this to His children who had just committed high treason against Him. God threw the glorious light of His Word right back at the serpent, as the coming redeemer would not only restore everything Adam and Eve lost in the garden, but utterly destroy the devil and all his works. This was the final death blow of the curse of God on the devil that was boldly pronounced in the garden. God heralded forth this good promise so every fallen angel, including the devil himself, would hear about His magnificent goodness and shudder about their ultimate defeat.

Genesis 3:15 (Rotherham’s Emphasized Bible):

And enmity shall I put between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed,-He shall crush thy head, but thou shall crush his heel.

This is a declaration of war! This verse sets forth the fulcrum point of all history and defines the ceaseless battle that has raged since Adam’s fall in the Garden of Eden. This verse is the central theme of all scriptures, as the red thread of the coming Redeemer is interwoven into every book of the Old Testament. Its message is even written in the heavens, as each night the stars proclaim the sufferings and glorious triumph of Christ.

Who is the seed of the woman? In conception the seed comes from the male, but God’s Word clearly refers to the woman’s seed here. Seed implies birth, and this verse indicates a virgin birth of a man who would crush the arch-enemy of God. This man is the Savior, the Redeemer, the Liberator, the Messiah, the Second Adam, and the Conqueror over sin and death. This man is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Satan has raging hostility toward the second Adam, for he knows that his head will be crushed by him. This is a fatal blow from which there is no recovery. Once a serpent’s head is crushed, he cannot inject his poison into the world anymore or operate his schemes and deceptions on all mankind. The devil knew that there was a genealogical Christ line that would pass through Eve, as the seed of the woman would have to be born. Later, the Word of God was more specific that this Christ line would pass through Abraham and King David. The entire Old Testament is a record of the fierce attempts of the devil to wipe out the Christ line, and prevent Jesus Christ, the seed of the woman, from ever being born. It is a record of God’s magnificent works and actions that repeatedly delivered the Christ line from extinction. Sometimes the survival of the Christ line rested on the faith of one individual like Noah, Joseph, Abraham, and Esther. Read the Old Testament with this truth in mind, and the Word of God will come alive in new and wonderful ways.

There is not enough space in this article to go into detail of the countless schemes and plots of the devil to destroy this Christ line, and God’s miraculous protection of it. The salvation and redemption of the human race depended on the preservation of the Christ line. The devil started with the murder of Abel and was absolutely relentless to try to destroy the Seed of the woman who would utterly crush and defeat him. He was not going to go out without a vicious and violent battle where he marshaled all his evil forces to bring about the destruction of the Christ line.

O what a day his birth would be! It had been anticipated and prophesied about for about 4000 years. How glorious it must have been when the angel of the Lord pronounced to the shepherds in the fields:

Luke 2:11-14 (NIV 1984):

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

The question becomes when was the “Today” that the angel proclaimed his birth? The book of Revelation gives us critical information in determining the day of the birth of Jesus Christ and it is so amazingly accurate that we can pinpoint the birth of Jesus Christ to a specific day and even that it occurred sometime within a time frame of eighty one minutes during that day.

Revelation 12:1-5 (KJV):

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

The Greek word for “wonder” in verse 1 means “sign” and God’s Word declares that there will be a sign in the heavens when Mary went into labor and gave birth to Jesus Christ. The Word of God is written across the heavens and in the stars. The signs of the Zodiac were originally not used in astrology but each one signified a characteristic of the life and ministry and kingship of Jesus Christ, the promised Savior and Son of God. The sign of the women that the Bible is referring to here is to the constellation Virgo. Revelation 12 further states that this woman was “clothed with the sun” another celestial body. The sun, as it appears to travel through the ecliptic each year, enters into the mid-body between the neck and the knees of the constellation Virgo, clothing her with the sun for approximately a 21 day period during any given year. In the year 3 B.C. which we later show by other celestial events in the heavens to be the year of the birth of Jesus Christ, the sun was in this position from August 27th through September 15th. Revelation also declares that “the moon was under her feet.” With these two specific details, we can pinpoint the birth of Christ very precisely. In 3 B.C. the sun and the moon in Virgo occurred on only one day and that was September 11. The configuration of the sun and the moon was visible in Palestine between sunset and moonset, this twilight period being called “night” in the Bible. On September 11, 3 B.C., sunset was at 6:18pm and moonset at 7:39pm. Jesus Christ was born on September 11, 3 B.C sometime in that eighty-one minute span of time between 6:18pm and 7:39pm. Amazingly this corresponds to Tishri 1 on the Jewish Calendar which is the First day of the festival of the Feast of Trumpets. We will discuss the wonderful significance of this in a minute but I also wanted to share that was another significant astronomical display on September 11, 3 B.C.

From sunset of September 11, 3 B.C. to September 11, 3 B.C. Jupiter and Regulus could be seen approaching conjunction before dawn. Although the precise astronomical conjunction occurred on September 14, the angle of observation and Jupiter’s slow apparent motion would have made their close rendezvous obvious as early as the predawn hours of Thursday, September 12, within hours of the Messiah’s birth. At that time the king planet Jupiter could be seen approaching the king star Regulus in the constellation of Leo, the sign of Judah from whose seed the Messiah, the promised seed came.

Exactly one month before (on August 12) the world would have witnessed the close conjunction of Jupiter (reckoned astrologically as the Father) and Venus (the Mother) when they were only .07 degrees from one another when they appeared as morning stars on the eastern horizon. This was a very close union. But then, nineteen days later (August 31), Venus came to within .36 degrees of Mercury in a very similar astronomical display. Then, on September 11th, the New Moon occurred which represented the Jewish New Year. This happened when Jupiter (the King planet) was then approaching Regulus (the King star). And, on September 14, Jupiter and Regulus came to their first of three conjunctions in this extraordinary year. Then, over an eight month period, Jupiter made its “crowning effect” over the King star Regulus. There could hardly have been a better astronomical testimony to the birth of the new messianic king from the Jewish point of view. Why? Because every one of these celestial occurrences I have mentioned happened with the Sun or planets being positioned within the constellation of Leo the Lion (the constellation of Judah — from whence the Messiah was destined to emerge) or in Virgo the Virgin. The apostle John may have seen importance in these extraordinary occurrences when he symbolically showed that Jesus was born at the New Moon of Tishri, the Day of Trumpets (Revelation 12:1–3).

Jesus Was Born on the Day of Trumpets

If one can realize that the New Testament shows Jesus born on the Day of Trumpets (the first day of Tishri ― the start of the Jewish civil year) an impressive amount of symbolic features emerge on the biblical and prophetic scenes. Before the period of the Exodus in the time of Moses, this was the day that began the biblical year. It also looks like this was the day when people were advanced one year of life ― no matter at what month of the year they were actually born.

Notice that the patriarch Noah became 600 years of age “in the first month [Tishri], the first day of the month [later to be called the Day of Trumpets]” (Genesis 8:13). That was the very day when “Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry” (v. 13). This was not only Noah’s official birthday, it became a new birth after the Flood for the earth as well.

There is more. Even the first day of creation mentioned in Genesis 1:1–5 could be reckoned as being this very day. The early Jews discussed whether the actual creation took place in spring or in autumn. But since the autumn commenced all biblical years before the Exodus (Exodus 12:2), and since all the fruit was then on the trees ready for Adam and Eve to eat (Genesis 1:29; 2:9, 16–17), it suggests that the month of Tishri was the creation month, beginning near the autumn. If so, then the first day of creation mentioned in Genesis was also the first of Tishri (at least, Moses no doubt intended to give that impression). This means that not only was this the birthday of the new earth in Noah’s day and what was later to become the Day of Trumpets on the Mosaic calendar, but it was also the day which ushered in the original creation of the heavens and the earth.

As shown before, among the Jews this day was called Rosh ha-Shanah (the Feast of the New Year). The majority belief of Jewish elders (which still dominates the services of the synagogues) was that the Day of Trumpets was the memorial day that commemorated the beginning of the world. Authorized opinion prevailed that the first of Tishri was the first day of Genesis 1:1–5. It “came to be regarded as the birthday of the world.” It was even more than an anniversary of the physical creation. The Jewish historian Theodor H. Gaster states,

“Judaism regards New Year’s Day not merely as an anniversary of creation ― but more importantly ― as a renewal of it. This is when the world is reborn.”

Gaster’s insight is so germane to the interpretation of the significance of biblical festivals that I will be referring to his research several times in my following references.

When Was the “Last Trump”?

The matter does not stop there. Each of the Jewish months was officially introduced by the blowing of trumpets (Numbers 10:10). Since the festival year in which all the Mosaic festivals were found was seven months long, the last month (Tishri) was the last month for a festival trumpet. This is one of the reasons that the day was called “the Day of Trumpets.” The last trump in the seven months’ series was always sounded on this New Moon day. This made it the final trumpets’ day (Leviticus 23:24; Numbers 29:1).

This was the exact day that many of the ancient kings and rulers of Judahreckoned as their inauguration day of rule. This procedure was followed consistently in the time of Solomon, Jeremiah, and Ezra . The Day of Trumpets was also acknowledged as the time for counting the years of their kingly rule. Indeed, it was customary that the final ceremony in the coronation of kings was the blowing of trumpets.

  • For Solomon, “Blow ye the trumpet, and say, ‘God save king Solomon’” (1 Kings 1:34).
  • For Jehu, “And [they] blew with trumpets, saying, ‘Jehu is king’” (2 Kings 9:13).
  • At the enthronement of Jehoash, “The people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets” (2 Kings 11:11).

There could well be a reflection of this symbolic feature in the New Testament. The Day of Trumpets was the time for the start of the seventh month (since the time of Moses), and the time for the “last trump” to introduce festival months. Note that in the Book of Revelation, we have the record of a heavenly angel who will blow the seventh and last trumpet blast. And recall what happens at the exact time this “last trump” is sounded.

“And the seventh angel sounded [blew the last trump]; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever [for the ages of the ages].’”Revelation 11:15

In New Testament parlance this shows the time of the coronation of Jesus, and it

In New Testament parlance this shows the time of the coronation of Jesus, and it happens at the seventh (or last) trump in the Book of Revelation ― the Day of Trumpets.

Further Significance of the Day of Trumpets

The early Jews also recognized that the Day of Trumpets was a memorial day for considering those who had died. It was not a simple type of “Memorial Day” that we moderns are accustomed to. Gaster said it was a symbolic time when “the dead return to rejoin their descendants at the beginning of the year.” Such a day was a time when Israel would rally to the call of God for the inauguration of God’s kingdom on earth. Gaster also states this was the time that became “a symbol of the Last Trump.” Since the apostle Paul was Jewish, it is possible that his reference to the “Last Trump” and the resurrection from the dead was also connected with the same biblical theme. The “Last Trump” of the early Jews was when the dead were remembered. To Paul the “Last Trump” was the time for Jesus’ second advent and the resurrection of the dead (1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16).

Truly, the Day of Trumpets theme is that of kingship. There may even be a reference to this in the elevation of the patriarch Joseph to kingship on this New Moon day which began the month of Tishri. Notice that he had been in a dungeon for “two full years” (Genesis 41:1). It was not simply a two year period which Moses was intending, but the passage of two full years. The implication is that the story of Joseph’s rise to kingship happened on a New Year’s Day. This is manifest in Psalm 81, a New Year’s psalm commemorating Joseph’s royal enthronement (Genesis 41:40). As with Jesus, in Revelation 11:15, the kingdoms of the world became Joseph’s on the day intended for coronations ― the day that later became the Day of Trumpets. Of course, Pharaoh retained top leadership, but as the New Testament shows, God the Father still maintains supreme rule over Jesus even when Jesus is prophesied to rule the kingdoms of this world.

The Crowning of Kings

As we have shown from the Bible, the blowing of trumpets was the sign that kings could then begin to rule (1 Kings 1:34; 2 Kings 9:13; 11:11). Jewish authorities long acknowledged this royal import to the Day of Trumpets. Gaster states, “The Sovereignty of God is a dominant theme of the occasion [and] it is one of the cardinal features of New Year’s Day.” The main issue that prevailed in the significance of the day was the triumph of God as a king over all the forces of evil. The symbolic motif of the Day of Trumpets, as Gaster shows, was God

“continually fighting His way to the Kingdom, continually asserting His dominion, and continually enthroning Himself as sovereign of creation. At New Year when the world was annually reborn that sovereignty was evinced anew.”

The theological thrust of the early Jews within their synagogue services for the Day of Trumpets was the fact that God rules over all and that he is the King of kings. On Trumpets it was common to quote Zechariah 14:16. “The king, the Lord of hosts.” Indeed, some scholars have suggested that psalms which begin “Yahweh is become king [or ‘The Lord reigns’](Psalm 93 and 97) were originally designed for recitation at the New Year festival.” Recent study shows this to be true. It is postulated by many scholars that in Israel, Yahweh was crowned annually at the “New Year feast of Yahweh.” The scholar Mowinckel has argued that the “enthronement psalms” (Psalms 47, 93, 96–99) in which Yahweh reigns were a part of the liturgy of the ancient synagogues. There is no doubt that this is true. This was also the very day when Jesus was born.

Jesus as the King of Kings

The central theme of the Day of Trumpets is clearly that of enthronement of the great King of kings. This was the general understanding of the day in early Judaism and it is certainly that of the New Testament. In Revelation 11:15, recall that the seventh angel sounds his “last trump” and the kingdoms of this world become those of Jesus. This happens at a time when a woman is seen in heaven with twelve stars around her head and the Sun mid-bodied to her, with the Moon under her feet. This is clearly a New Moon scene for the Day of Trumpets.

And note: Professor Thorley who reviewed the first edition of my work has shown that there are exactly twelve stars surrounding the head of Virgo as we see them from earth. And indeed there are. If one will look at Norton’s Star Atlas, twelve visible stars will be seen around Virgo’s head. They are (according to astronomical terminology): (1) Pi, (2) Nu, (3) Beta (near the ecliptic), (4) Sigma, (5) Chi, (6) Iota — these six stars form the southern hemisphere around the head of Virgo. Then there are (7) Theta, (8) Star 60, (9) Delta, (10) Star 93, (11) Beta (the 2nd magnitude star) and (12) Omicron — these last six form the northern hemisphere around the head of Virgo. All these stars are visible and could have been witnessed by observers on earth.

Thus, the description of the apostle John describes a perfectly normal heavenly scene that could be recognized by all people. Here was Virgo with twelve stars around her head, while the Sun was in uterine position and the Moon under her feet. And again, the only time this could have occurred in 3 B.C.E. was on the Day of Trumpets. This is when the “king of kings” was born.

Another explanation of the Twelve Stars around the head of Virgo is that it represents the headship position (the “head” of Virgo is situated in the last ten degrees of Leo) for the beginning of the story found within the Twelve Constellations as reckoned in the biblical Zodiac. In the biblical Zodiac, the tribe of Judah (the Lion, or Leo) was situated around the Tabernacle directly east of its entrance. This meant that half of the tribe of Judah was south and the other half north of the east/west line from the Holy of Holies through the court of Israel and then eastward through the camp of Israel (in this case, Judah) to encounter the altar outside the camp where the Red Heifer was burnt to ashes. This means, unlike some Gentile reckonings which started their zodiacal story with the zero line between Cancer and Leo (that is, at the very commencement of Leo), the biblical Zodiac that Drs. Bullinger and Seiss were talking about began with the 15th degree of Leo (ofJudah). This signifies that the first constellation to be met with in this celestial story would have been the “head” of Virgo the Virgin which occupied the last ten degrees of Leo. So, John began his story at this point.

The Significance of Being Born on New Year’s Day

The Day of Trumpets in the biblical and Jewish calendars is New Year’s Day for commercial and royal reckonings (just as we have January the first on our Roman calendar as the start of our New Year). This New Year’s Day signified a time of “new beginnings” to all those in Israelwho accepted the teachings of the Bible. As a matter of fact, the Jews over the centuries have held to the belief that the Day of Trumpets was a cardinal date in the history of Adam (our first parent). It was the very day when Adam and Eve came to the recognition of whether to obey God or to defy him (see The Complete Artscroll Machzor, p.xvi). But that was not all that occurred on that day. No day in the year could be reckoned as being of more esteemed value and symbolic influence than Rosh Ha-Shanah. That day is important for the birth of the Messiah in several ways that are very profound in Jewish symbolism.

The book The Complete Artscroll Machzor gives some chronological details that the early Jewish theologians and scholars worked out from indications in the Old Testament to show when important individuals were born or major events happened in association with their lives. And what an array of significant things occurred on the Day of Trumpets and the month of Tishri. The book gives a summary of accounts found in the Jewish Talmud (Rosh Ha-Shanah 10b–11a).

Note what the Machzor states about this particular Day of Trumpets. The quotes are interesting and of value,

“The Patriarchs Abraham and Jacob were born on Rosh Ha-Shanah. Abraham was a new beginning for mankind after its [mankind’s] failure to realize the promise of Adam and Noah. Jacob was a new beginning for the Jewish people, for it was with him that Jews advanced from the status of individuals to that of a united family on the threshold of nationhood”

  • Artscroll Machzor, p.xvi, italics and bracketed word mine

The Machzor does not stop with Abraham and Jacob. Look at the following quote,

“On Rosh Ha-Shanah God remembered three barren women, the Matriarchs Sarah and Rachel, and Hannah the mother of the prophet Samuel and decreed that they would give birth. Not only was Rosh Ha-Shanah a turning point in the lives of these great and worthy women, but the births of their children were momentous events for all Jewry, because they were the historic figures Isaac, Joseph, and Samuel.”

  • Ibid., italics mine

If the Jewish people would realize that the New Testament in the Book of Revelation (chapter 12:1–5) also places the birth of Jesus on the very same Day of Trumpets, they might begin to understand just how important Jesus is in a Jewish sense as well as to the world. The New Testament states that he is the Messiah. He shares many similarities with the births of Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Joseph and Samuel. People should begin to realize the significant coincidences of the birthdays of these prominent men as understood by the Jewish people. And standing out above them all, is the teaching of the apostle John that Rosh Ha-Shanah is also the birthday of Jesus.

More Significance of the Day of Trumpets

Jewish chronological evaluations show other important events associated with the Day of Trumpets (Rosh Ha-Shanah). The Machzor continues,

“On Rosh Ha-Shanah, Joseph was freed from an Egyptian prison after twelve years of incarceration. He became viceroy of Egypt, provider to the world during the years of famine, and the leader of Jacob’s family. God’s plan called for Joseph to set in motion the years of exile and enslavement that were the necessary preparation for Israel’s freedom, nationhood, and emergence in a blaze of miracles to accept the Torah and march to the Land of Israel.”

  • Ibid.

This shows Rosh ha-Shanah as a day of freedom. There is more on the theme of freedom. The Machzor continues:

“On Rosh Ha-Shanah, the Jewish people in Egypt stopped their slave labor [they began their time of liberty and freedom], while they waited for the Ten Plagues to play themselves out so that Moses could lead them to freedom”

  • Ibid., words in brackets mine

The Final Festivals of Israel

As I stated, this day at the beginning of the month of Tishri was the day when the seventh trump (or the last trump) was sounded to introduce the final month when the festivals of God ordained at the time of Moses would be held. This last trump is mentioned by the apostle Paul as heralding the events associated with the Second Advent of Christ back to this earth (1 Corinthians 15:52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17). This last or final trump is also mentioned by the apostle John in Revelation 11:15 as the warning sound that theKingdomofGodwill soon be coming to earth. And soon after, the seven angels of the Book of Revelation will bring on the seven last plagues (in the same fashion as the Jewish analyzers of chronology saw that from the same day of Rosh Ha-Shanah the Ten Plagues were sent forth on Egypt in the time of Moses).

What is certain is the fact that the Book of Revelation (with its teaching that Jesus was born on the Day of Trumpets) is giving us in a symbolic way the time for the nativity of Jesus whom Christians considered to be the king of the world. He was prophesied to lead all people into a time of freedom and profound peace. This is the central reason why the apostle John in Revelation 12:1–5 shows that the birth of Jesus occurred within the first few minutes (the twilight period) of the Day of Trumpets that works out to be September 11th in 3 B.C.E.

Tishri 1
The Feast of Trumpets

This occurs on Tishri 1 in the Fall (Sept.-Oct.). On this day the High Priest blows the ram’s horn announcing the beginning of the New Year. Jewish Tradition gives this day a fourfold meaning:

  1. New Years day.
  2. The day of remembrance.
  3. The day of judgment.
  4. The day of blowing the Shofar.

On this day Isaiah 60-61 is read in the Synagogues to teach the lesson that eventually the Lord will be revealed as King and be accepted as the ruler of the world. Isn’t it amazing that Jesus read from section of scripture in the synagogue atNazareth for his first sermon as he described his ministry?

Luke 4:16-21 (NIV): He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read,

And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,

To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.

He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

So on September 11, 3 B.C. Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son was born in Bethlehem. Unknown to the people, the trumpet sounds which blew from morning to evening  in Jerusalem heralded the birth of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. What a glorious day in the redemption of mankind for unto this world a Savior was born.

The Magi or wise men did not come to see Jesus until he was about one and one half years old as they begin to track six astronomical events in Leo that captured their attention. These events are as follows:

1. Jupiter and Venus in conjunction in Leo: August 12, 3 B.C.

2. Jupiter and Regulus in conjunction in Leo: September 14, 3 B.C.

3. Jupiter and Regulus in conjunction in Leo: February 17, 2 B.C.

4. Jupiter and Regulus in conjunction in Leo: May 8, 2 B.C.

5. Jupiter and Venus in conjunction in Leo: June 17, 2 B.C.

6. Massing of planets Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, and Venus in Leo with Jupiter and Mars in conjunction: August 27th 3 B.C.

The final comjunction in Leo with its massing of planets convinced the Magi that a king had been born in Judea. They began to journey to find the king of the Judeans shortly after this last event. The Bible makes one breathless in its accuracy and integrity.

Note: I want to recognize the book Jesus Christ Our Promised Seed by Victor Paul Wierwille as an important source of some of the research in this article.

I have looked up the date using the calendar converter, and it looks like you are using the Julian calendar, not the Gregorian, so in fact Jesus was born September 9, 2BC as we now measure time. It would be interesting if it was indeed 9/11, almost as if the devil planned it that way. Maybe he got mixed up between the two calendars as well.

I favor your date for the birth of Jesus Christ over others because of Rev 12. I wonder does this reckon with the eclipses of the moon and the death of King Herod?

    • CC says:

God doesn’t go by the Gregorian calendar, its pagan.

      • Also, Herod the Great would have already been dead by 4 BC. We know this as we actually have records of his life and death etc. We actually have pretty good records as to who was governor in Syria at that time as well.

      • As I stated in a previous comment that got deleted, EVERY human calendar is technically “pagan” (a term that was invented by the Romans and was the equivalent of “hillbilly” or “country bumbkin”). And technically “god” wouldn’t go by any human calendar since it would be assumed that he was outside of human understanding of time.

“And since the publication of Ernest Martin in 1978 (The Birth of Christ), scholars have acknowledged the difficulties with the 4 B.C. date for the death of Herod, which Martin clearly proved was impossible. The account of Josephus, the succession of rulers, the Lunar eclipse, used to establish that date, have been carefully scrutinized to demonstrate the hypothesis that Herod died in 1 B.C. The 4 B.C. hypothesis is the least probable.”

Yes indeed! For example look at the 2300 year/day prophecy of Daniel 8. It prophesied the exact year of Jesus baptism, crucifixion, gospel taken from the Jewish people as a nation and largely given to the gentiles through the apostle Paul. It takes us down to 1844 and the investigative judgement now in session. God has a perfect ‘time’ for everything.

  13. Elva kimble says:

The Jews celebrate their birthdays on the date of conception. Jesus was born on September 11th, 3BC but he was conceived on December 24/25th making Christmas the perfectly correct day to celebrate his birthday. He was born exactly 271 days after conception. Check out HAGGI, Chapter 2, verses 18 and 19.

    Verse 18:
Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month ( our December) even from the day that the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid, consider it.

    Verse 19:
Is the seed yet in the barn (referring to the impregnating of Mary) yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day I will bless you.
So say Merry Christmas and have a great day. Think of the tree as the tree of life and the lights show that Jesus is the light of the world.

    • melinda says:

Interesting point on those verses. The 24th of the biblical 9th month would probably not be the 24th of December though. But yes! He was conceived on hannuikah which is close to that date that year! The hung about the trees at Christmas is its mixing in old pagan traditions. God said not to do that. Check out Deuteronomy 12. The Lord hates the stuff they did. So let’s not pull out their traditions to honor Him. Isn’t it kinda like taking an ex boyfriend’s favorite meal to honor your husband even though your husband doesn’t like it and it reminds him of your ex??

    • Sarnicula says:

do not base it in our gregorian calendar, base it on the biblical calendar that has 29 to 30 days only.

    • Right, as if you go back 9 months from early Sept. you arrive at late Dec. the amount of time needed for Gestation! Interesting that the Chinese consider (or recognize) the beginning of gestation as ones true beginning, as mentioned in Jeremiah 1:5.
But as far as recognizing a tree, Peter only mentions one,1 Peter 2:24 and it was the tree Christ bore the curse of our sin’s on. See Galatians 3:13 as for what Peter was referring to. Thanks

Yeshua was born during Sukkot, folks. You need to take another look at that calendar reckoning…

    • Robert Wuist says:

Mary and Joseph were probably staying in a cozy Sukkah near relatives to faithfully observe Yom Teruah

  15. Clay says:

In order for us to find out exactly when He was born, we’ve got to go back to Zechariah. Mary’s cousin Elizabeth was married to Zechariah, who was a priest in the temple.

In 1 Chronicles 24, King David, from the order of God Himself, started the rotation of the priests. There were 24 rotations, each priest from each house. The 24 courses of the temple priesthood are found in 1 Chronicles 24 and 28, where it lists all the priestly line and their rotation. They had to draw lots. I have no clue what that included, but it was something that they allowed and I don’ t think it was like gambling in a casino.

The priests began their service on a Shabbat. It is a Shabbat today. Actually, today is considered a high Shabbat.

There were three feasts that every Israelite man had to go up to Jerusalem for: Pesach, or Passover; Shavuot, or Pentecost; and Tabernacles, or Sukkot. They would go up to the temple and they would make their sacrifices.

Zechariah was the father of John the Baptist. His course happened to have been during the time after Pentecost. We are actually in the Jewish month of Sivan. We are going by the Jewish calendar not the Greco-Roman calendar. That would be between May and June. May and June would be when he would have stopped his rotation, which usually lasted 6-12 weeks, depending on which house you were from and what rotation you were in.

That meant Zechariah completed his temple service on a Sabbath, he went home, and sometime around the end of June-beginning of July, Elizabeth would have conceived John the Baptist. The reason why John’s conception and his birth is important is because it will determine in chronological order Yeshua’s birth.

If you go to Luke 1:24-27, it talks about when Elizabeth conceived. Fast forward six months to when Miriam, or Mary, came to visit her, and whose baby leapt within her? Elizabeth’s. This is awesome that even in the womb a fetus recognized the Messiah of Israel. I don’t know about you, but that gives me chills.

By the way, it is said that when Mary conceived Yeshua, it was actually around December 25. Think about this for a second. He wasn’t born on December 25, but there are two things to see here. Number one, in the Jewish culture of His day, the day you were conceived was actually considered your birthday. Also, it was Chanukah time, and it was around Chanukah, which is the Festival of Lights, that the Light of the World was conceived. Even though Chanukah was a manmade festival, Yeshua still celebrated it.

Working from when John was conceived, and then when Yeshua was conceived, Scripture tells us Mary stayed with Elizabeth three months. If Elizabeth was already six months pregnant, then she stayed with her until the baby was born. That baby was born, John the Immerser, the forerunner of the spotless Lamb of God, during Pesach, or Passover.

It gets better. In Jewish tradition and also Messianic tradition, during the Passover Seder they have a cup for Elijah. In Matthew 17:10 it says, “His disciples asked him saying, ‘Why then do the scribes say Elijah must come first?’” John was actually a forerunner of the Meshiach, the Messiah. He was to prepare the way. The fact is scholars actually believe that he was born at the exact time on the same day that we usher in Elijah the prophet, the spirit of Elijah. Guess what? He is the spirit of Elijah.

Then we have the birth of John. John was born the week of Pesach. Mary would already have been three months pregnant. If you go from December 25 and you count 40 weeks or nine months, guess where we come to? The fifteenth day of the seventh month, Tishri, which is the Festival of Tabernacles, or Sukkot. You see how the Bible proves itself?

If God’s festivals are His appointed times, His moadim, and Yeshua died on Passover, why is it so hard for us to believe that He would have been born during God’s appointed time, one of the feasts that the Israelite men had to come up for?

In conclusion about Tabernacles, Yeshua was born the first day of Tabernacles, and He was circumcised the eighth day of Tabernacles.

What I really want to bring to your attention is that Tabernacles was a feast of the ingathering of the Harvest. His first coming was when he was born on the 15th of Tishri, the first day of Tabernacles, so then would it be quite reasonable to presume that the Harvest of this earth, the ingathering of the Second Coming of Yeshua, will occur precisely the same day? I am not talking about the rapture of the saints. I am talking about His Second Coming.

    • Tim Griffioen MD says:

The gestational period for humans is 40 weeks. However, a woman cannot be pregnant for the first 2 weeks because ovulation does not occur until the end of the 2nd week. According to embriology textbooks, the egg does not become implanted into the womb until the end of that week. That reduces the ACTUAL pregnancy in humans to 37 weeks! If you look on a pregnancy wheel, for a woman to give birth on Sept. 11, implantation of a fertilized egg would have happened on….DEC. 25!

      • Jane says:

This is amazing! Do you think 2030 is when tribulation will take place?

Yes, totally believe that. And of course every woman is different to a degree. I got impregnated Dec. 24 and was due on Sept. 5. But my son didn’t come until Sept. 9, at 9:10 a.m. (9/9/9). First pregnancies are often late. I was getting impatient by the 8th, so went for a long walk. Bingo, he came next morning. Lol

    • How can anyone tell when conception is?

    • Dominic Moorhouse says:

I concur. Additionally, John 1:14… “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst us…”. But the word ‘dwelt’ is actually ‘tabernacled’ among us.
Furthermore the word Manger has been mistranslated. It should read Tabernacle (i.e. sukkot). Mary had to stay in Joseph’s sukkot (manger), because the inn’s were all full of the women attending the Feast in Jerusalem, 5 miles away, whilst all the men were in their own Sukkots.

If so, December 25 can be made as the Christmas. Perhaps, you may wish to tell us whether the actual date of conception. Before I learn those and now yours, can you say like me, God owns everything which he created, if so, anyone can claim any day belongs or is his. Thank you for this most interesting article! God is a God of order, He is a perfectionist. You brought all the threads together! And you didn’t even mention the timeline in the book of Daniel!v

    • T. Griffioen says:

      Hi Tina,
Here is your answer regarding the prophecies in Daniel:
Palm Sunday is the day that Jesus rode into Jerusalem as the ‘Anointed One’. It is the Sunday just prior to His crucifixion on Good Friday. It is referred to as Jesus ‘Triumphant Entry’. The date of Palm Sunday was prophesied in the book of Daniel to occur exactly 173 880 days after the decree was made by King Artaxerxes (Appendix 1) to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
The prophecy in Daniel 9 is known as ‘The 70 week Prophecy of Daniel’:
Daniel 9: 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. KJV
The Hebrew word for Messiah also means “Anointed one”. In the KJV it is translated as ‘Messiah’, but in the NLT it is translated as ‘Anointed’.
Daniel 9: 25 Now listen and understand! Seven sets of seven plus sixty-two sets of seven will pass from the time the command is given to rebuild Jerusalem until a ruler—the Anointed One—comes. Jerusalem will be rebuilt with streets and strong defenses, despite the perilous times. NLT
Understand that each day in the prophecy represents a year. This was first understood and explained by the early church leader, Julius Africanus. Only fragments of his book “On the Weeks and This Prophesy” remain (Wikipedia).
This principle is given to us in Leviticus:
Leviticus 25: 8 “In addition, you must count off seven Sabbath years, seven sets of seven years, adding up to forty-nine years in all. NLT
A ‘Sabbath’ is the 7th day of the week. Seven weeks are equal to 49 days, but in Leviticus, this is equated to 49 years.
From the prophecy given in Daniel 9:25 there are “7 weeks and threescore (60) and 2 weeks” for a total of 69 weeks (7 + 60 + 2). If each day of those 69 weeks is also understood to represent a year as described in Leviticus, there would be 483 years (69 x 7 = 483). But how many days is 483 years?
It has been understood by Bible scholars that a ‘Prophetic Year’ is 360 days. In the story of Noah’s flood, the verses of Genesis 7: 11, Genesis 7: 24 and Genesis 8: 4 clearly equate 5 months to 150 days. Also, the verses of Revelation 11: 2 and 3 equate 42 months to 1260 days. Forty two months is 3 ½ years and 1260 days divided by 3.5 years equals 360 days per year. It has been speculated that the earth used to have exactly 360 days in a year due to the fact also that ancient cultures divided a circle into 360 degrees and we still use this today.
If the prophetic years in Daniel 9: 25 are presumed to be 360 days per year, then the 483 years would equal 173 880 days (483 x 360 = 173 880). This must now be converted back to the Roman/Gregorian calendar of 365.24219 days/year. This is accomplished by first calculating how many days are prophesied (using the Biblical year of 360 days per year) and then dividing those total number of days by 365.24219.
It makes the most sense to convert this into Tropical years of 365.24219 days/year. A Tropical year is the time measured from one vernal equinox to the next. It keeps the calendar dates from drifting into different seasons over time. A Sidereal year is 20 minutes and 24.5 seconds longer and is the time it takes the earth to complete one full circuit around the sun with respect to the background stars. A Sidereal year falls out of sync with the seasons by one day every 72 years (Wikipedia), so it makes more sense to convert to Tropical years which keep the calendar in sync with the seasons rather than with the stars.
To figure out the date of the coming of the “Anointed One”, 173 880 days are converted back to Roman/Gregorian years as follows:
      173 880 days ÷ 365.24219 days / tropical year = 476.0676744 tropical years, which equals 476 years and 24.7 days. (0.0676744 years x 365.24219 days per year = 24.7 days)
So for this prophecy to come true, 476 years and 24.7 days must be added on to the date when the decree was given to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. The story of King Artaxerxes giving the decree to restore and build Jerusalem is recorded in the book of Nehemiah as follows:
Nehemiah 2: 1 Early the following spring, in the month of Nisan, during the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes’ reign, I was serving the king his wine. I had never before appeared sad in his presence. 2 So the king asked me, “Why are you looking so sad? You don’t look sick to me. You must be deeply troubled.”
Then I was terrified, 3 but I replied, “Long live the king! How can I not be sad? For the city where my ancestors are buried is in ruins, and the gates have been destroyed by fire.”
4 The king asked, “How can I help you?”
With a prayer to the God of heaven, 5I replied, “If it please the king, and if you are pleased with me, your servant, send me to Judah to rebuild the city where my ancestors are buried.”
6 The king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked, “How long will you be gone? When will you return?” After I told him how long I would be gone, the king agreed to my request. NLT
Artaxerxes reigned from 465 BC to 424 BC. Therefore the 20th year of King Artaxerxes was 445 BC according to the Roman calendar (465 – 20 = 445). However, Nehemiah was using the Hebrew calendar. In fact, Nehemiah would not even have known about a Roman calendar at that time. The very first verse of the book of Nehemiah confirms this.
Nehemiah1: 1 These are the memoirs of Nehemiah son of Hacaliah.
In late autumn, in the month of Kislev, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes’ reign, I was at the fortress of Susa. NLT
Kislev in the Hebrew calendar corresponds to November/December of the Roman based calendar. Nehemiah states that it was the 20th year of King Artaxerxes reign. The following spring, in the month of Nisan, Nehemiah still states that it is the 20th year of King Artaxerxes reign (Nehemiah 2: 1). This only makes sense if Nehemiah is using the Hebrew calendar which runs from September to September and therefore going from Kislev (November) to Nisan (March) would not be considered a new year to Nehemiah. Because the Hebrew calendar is skewed from the Julian/Gregorian calendar by 9 months, the 20th year of King Artaxerxes reign according to the Hebrews would correspond to the Julian year of 444 BC and not 445 BC. Julianus Africanus also used the year 444 BC as the year of the Decree.
In addition to this, it would be rather odd for Nehemiah to refer to the months of the Hebrew calendar, but then refer to the years using a different (ie. Roman) calendar.
Hebrew months always start at the first visible crescent after the new moon. Because of this fact, the Hebrew dates given to us in the Bible can now be correlated to our present day calendar dating system. NASA moon phase dates show that Nisan the 1st in the year 444 BC would have occurred on March 4. Although the date of Nisan the 1st is not given in the Bible, the custom was for Kings to make their decrees on the New Moon which is also the first day of the Hebrew month.
From the 70 week prophecy of Daniel, adding 476 years to March 4, 444 (the date of the decree) would come to March 4, 33 AD (476 – 444 = 32 but there is no year ‘0 AD’, so it ends up being the year 33 AD, and not 32 AD). Adding 24.7 (25 days) days to March 4, 33 AD would come to March 29, 33 AD. This was the day of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem (John 12: 12-19), and it occurred on the first day of the week – Palm Sunday. Mary, the sister of Lazarus, had anointed Jesus with perfume at the house of Lazarus the day before in Bethany (John 12:1-11), hence, the coming of the ‘Anointed One’ (Daniel 9: 25).
Perpetual calendars for 33AD confirm that the day of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, March 29, 33 AD was in fact a Sunday (now referred to as Palm Sunday), and that the day of the crucifixion, Good Friday April 3, 33, was in fact a Friday.

Perpetual calendars for 33AD confirm that the day of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, March 29, 33 AD was in fact a Sunday as and that the day of the crucifixion, Good Friday April 3, 33, was in fact a Friday (also confirmed by perpetual calendars).

John12: 1 Six days before the Passover celebration began, Jesus arrived in Bethany, the home of Lazarus—the man he had raised from the dead. 2 A dinner was prepared in Jesus’ honor. Martha served, and Lazarus was among those who ate with him. 3 Then Mary took a twelve-ounce jar of expensive perfume made from essence of nard, and she anointed Jesus’ feet with it, wiping his feet with her hair. NLT
John 12: 12 The next day, the news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of Passover visitors 13 took palm branches and went down the road to meet him. They shouted,
      “Praise God!
Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD!
Hail to the King of Israel!” NLT
The crucifixion occurred on the following Passover Friday which was April 3, 33 AD. Jesus would have risen from the grave on April 5, 33 AD.

I try to refrain from exact dates as much as possible in ad and bc. But more specifically concerning a week:
Joh 20:1 & Joh 20:19  helps to validate and prove that he died on a Saturday.

Mary did not visit his grave until 8 days later on the first day of the week.

If he died on a Friday then Magdalene would have visited the grave on a Saturday but that would contradict the Gospel of John.

        Here is why:
Eight days from a Friday is always the seventh/last day of the week
Eight days from a Saturday is always the first day of the week.

        T. Griffioen, thatnk you your wealth of information you shared!
        Learned a lot from you, however, you’re missing two things;

        1. The lost day from Joshua when the sun and moon did not go down a whole day.
        2. The 15 or 20 minutes or so from the sun going back ten degrees in the time of King Hezekiah.

All the calendars worldwide used to use the 360 day/year calendar until 701 BC…
        That’s when the calendar shifted from 360 days/year to 365.whatever days/year.
Coincidentally, that’s EXACTLY when the Lord caused the sun to go backwards to give Hezekiah a sign that he’s healed.
        2 Kings 20:8-11, Isaiah 38:7-8

Yes. This crazy event actually happened.

The sun went BACKWARDS IN IT’S CIRCUIT above the earth.
And the reason it was possible for this event to happen is because we don’t live on a ball but on stable earth like the scriptures say.
Because the sun is given a circuit in which to run. (Psalms 19:6)
But the earth is stable and SHALL NOT BE MOVED. (1Chr 16:30)
An earth above which are placed the sun, moon and stars in the FIRMAMENT as described in Genesis, Job, Psalms, Isaiah, etc.

        Ivar, you’re missing the fact that the prophecy of Jesus says He would be in the grave three days;
“For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

If He died on a Saturday as you say, and rose from the dead on
the first day which is THE VERY NEXT DAY and not three days later like He promised in the Scriptures, then that would make God a liar… and we already know He isn’t a liar 🙂

  27. Linda Ferreira says:

Amazing explaination. All seems to be confirmed through Scripture which in fact is our only guide to truth! Where does this leave Christians celebrating 25 th December as the birth of Christ which is actually Pagan worshipping? Should this truth not be broadcasted etc. To bring it to the attention of the Christians in the world.

    • T. Griffioen says:

      Hi Linda,
I think that Dec 25 is still a good date.
The gestational period for humans is 40 weeks. However, a woman cannot be pregnant for the first 2 weeks because ovulation does not occur until the end of the 2nd week. According to embriology textbooks, the egg becomes implanted into the womb 7 days after ovulation (Langman’s Medical Embryology. Fifth Ed. T.W.Sadler. pg. 37.
      Williams & Wilkins, © 1985).
That reduces the ACTUAL pregnancy in humans to 37 weeks, from implantation to birth. Dec 25 is EXACTLY 37 weeks (259 days) prior to Sept 11.
If Sept 11, 3BC is the day of His birth, then the actual incarnation of Jesus as a single cell embryo would have occurred on Dec 25, 4BC. It all fits. In getting the date of His birth wrong, the early church fathers got it right…the day of His incarnation. Not even a date that Mary would have known.
Immanual, God with us, Dec 25, 4 BC.
      Merry Christmas!

      • I will continue celebrating Dec. 25, but with a twist, as the date the Holy Spirit over shadowed Mary and Jesus began his life, as God did with Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5. This should cause “pro-choice” people to think about what they are doing! This date goes along with John 3:16, as that is when he gave Jesus to the world and to Mary, miraculously.

Years ago the Lord convicted me mightily about Christmas being an abomination to Him. I didn’t`t do any research about Sept. 11 being the day of His birth, the Holy Spirit showed it to me, and that it was on Rosh Hashanah. This confirms it. Judgment is coming to the church because we have embraced paganism.

This article just conformed it for me ,Thank you muchly!!! I also do what the Bible says ,I honor the Sabbath,4th commandment. Man and Satan lies about any thing to do with Sunday worship.

First and foremost I enjoyed the article and found it insightful. I also believe he was born in the seventh month.

However I do not believe that just because the sign seemed to have been on the Feast of Trumpets, that the birth was on that same day. For example a Passover lamb was prepared four days in advance and not on the day thereof.

Considering all the information I have come by, I suspect he was born 14 days later on the Feast of Tabernacles “15th day seventh month”.

I believe the modern day Hebrew Calendar and our Gregorian is out of sync with the calendar used by Moses however here is a calendar for reference.

There are many things to overcome in this world and I am thankful for those that have overcome the Sumerian/Babylonian 25 December date. I suspect it encompasses the doctrine of Nicolations mentioned in Rev 2:6 & Rev 2:15 and used to make profits / merchandise of people 2Pe 2:3

Or, it could be, as proven by NASA software Starry Night, His star(Jupiter) stopped over Bethlehem(when viewed from Jerusalem) on 25Dec2BC…and the World has done its best to co-opt that day with their worldly agenda…which too many who claim to be followers of Christ follow.

    • Actually no, your so called “overcoming the Sumerian/Babylonian 25 December date”, does not encompass the doctrine of Nicolations . rather the “eating things sacrificed unto idols, and the committing fornication” are the things God hates.
Holding one day more holy than another (such as Christmas) Paul say’s this; “One man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regards the day, regards it unto the Lord;” Romans 14:5,6. Paul is saying; Glorifying the Lord and honoring him is the pleasing thing, not which day we do it, as the exact day is not what God is after, but rather the worship of and acknowledging his being “sent”, “For God ‘sent’ not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”John 3:17. .

I agree with Jesus birthday might be Sept. 11th. I was thinking his birthday was Halloween, because why wouldn’t those devils pervert his real birthday into a celebration of death. This would explain why the 9/11 Hijackers picked that date to conduct their attack. The demons that were influencing Al-Qaida, as an extra dig at Jesus, wanted to make sure that date was remembered as a date of misery. It was not only one of the worst dates in American History, but it was also a date that that a lot of foreigners on U.S. soil lost their lives (and their families are reminded of that every year!). It was also the events of that date Islam used as a rallying cry. And it was a date when the entire world changed.

  53. Udi Gods power. O says:

Your September 11 argument as the birthday of Jesus is quite clear. But we need to understand that no man can actually substantiate the time, date and the year of Jesus birth because Jesus is God. And as God, He does not have a beginning because God does not have a beginning (Gen 1:1; Jn 1:1). His beginning cannot be known by any one hence, the Jesus birthday is unsearchable. The earliest gospel writer, Mark, skipped it as well as the later Gospel writers Matthew and Luke who wrote extensively about it contradict each other in important particulars and offer little to base any dependable argument on the time, date and the year of Jesus birth because they human. The Magi could not tell Herod the exact time the child was born (Matthew 2:7) because it is God’s exclusive secret. Therefore, there is no need to draw a hard and fast rule against December 25th Christmas Celebration, even the September 11, 3BC at 7. pm speculations may not be the actual time.

    • Good points, yet may I inject that since, as you well say, “God does not have a beginning” (nor an end) God the Son was always with God the Father (John 1:1-14), yet to send him to Earth, God the Spirit “over shadowed” Mary (Luke 1:35) and brought forth God the Son as a perfect sacrifice worthy of (John 3:16). This “birth” was the beginning of God the “son of man” (which Jesus often called himself, one example, Matthew 9:6), as he always was the “Son of God”.
The Magi did not tell Herod when Jesus was born because it was a moot point, for Jesus was already about two years old when they came to him, as Matthew 2:8,9,11,13 spoke only of “the Young Child”.
As for Dec. 25, if one advances this date out 9 months of gestation, you arrive at early Sept. God sent Jesus to Earth in Dec. when The Spirit “overshadowed (surrounded) Mary, which is interesting , and of great importance, as much as his birth! So, celebrate them both!

Piggybacking on what was said here, I made an announcement to my humanities classes today, September 11th…

This researcher (https://goodnessofgodministries.international/2011/12/22/when-was-jesus-christ-born-the-bible-says-september-11-3bc-the-day-of-the-feast-of-trumpets/) has discovered that September 11th was the birthday of Jesus Christ and that conception was more likely closer to what we celebrate as Christmas. I have done this research and am able to agree with this assessment and it is also “written in the stars” for anyone to see, if one knows what one is looking for.

Sadly, we experienced a deep loss on this day in 2001 but inquiry can be made into the deeper reasons for it. When one does this, one can discover that a bill was signed by then-President Clinton on September 10th, 2001, “Nesara Now” (https://www.change.org/p/supreme-court-washington-d-c-announce-nesara-now-the-law-exist-hasn-t-been-announce-as-it-was-ordered-and-scheduled-to-be-announced) to restore out Constitution and return us to a gold standard. This was to be announced on September 11, 2001 but the devastation of the Twin Towers in New York City also took all of the “air out of the room” and as a result, this announcement was never made.

I used to live and work in the NYC area (back in the late 1980’s) and would take the Path train from Hoboken, NJ, under the water and up, into one of those towers. I remember later, as a middle school teacher, going to school that day and turning on the TV to witness what was reported to have happened. I believe that we shall soon learn much more about this.

God doesn’t care about US Inc., or some mined Gold for a Gold standard standardized by the likes of anti-Christs such as Morgan, Warburg, Seligmann, etc.

Gold has no intrinsic vaule, nor does silver, nor does paper money. Only God has intrinsic value and leaning on Him in faith. The rotten constitution was codified by mostly Masons, against Christ or impartial to Him, and not one farmer, tradesman, churchmen signed unto it. It is a statutary law after all. Below the jurisdiction of God.

9/11 was purposefully done to make a day of worship and praise, of celebration, into sadness, idol worship and WATCHER commemoration. 9/11 was a mass ritual for war, and aligning the stars for the watcher and nephilim of old. Reject the 9/11 idol and embrace Christ in all things.

Personally, I believe that 9 – 11 is a “mark”, very much like a Cross might be. Every time I perceive it, I KNOW He is witness of that particular fact. Just like Alef-Tav (Hebrew letters that symbolize Him) appeared at Genesis and then, again, in Revelations as the Alfa-Omega.

Sorry but you left out one very important FACT. Sheep naturally conceive and gives birth once a year and always gives birth in the spring. Read Luke 2:8, for Shepherds were out in the fields tending their flocks at night. 2000 years ago they only did this at night during the spring time when sheep are giving birth to lambs. If Jesus is the LAMB OF GOD he must have been born during when lambs are born and when unblemished lambs are sacrificed both in the spring. Second, if you just calculate Daniel’s prophecy you would know Jesus birthdate is April 3 not in September. So, you might want to go back and retract this article. In order to calculate Daniel’s prophecy you must use the Hebrew calendar then convert it to the Gregorian to see the dates. It’s very simple.

No matter the birth date of our Savior, more importantly is the fact that He lives, His living word is alive and powerful, we are His masterpiece and prized possession, His friend, His joint heir in the Kingdom of God (Heaven), and He is our brother, as King of kings and Lord of lords, the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end – He is Jesus Christ Living God – Jesus is His name * Christ is His title * He lives * and He is God – hallelujah amen and amen thank you, Jesus

And now, moving forward, especially after our current PlanDemic, we must do so united, leaving our denominational pride and self titles behind, and all that is not of in the living word, nothing added, nothing taken away … and stop judging each other, setting the example needed in a dark world, boasting of JESUS CHRIST LIVING GOD … greater & greater is He and less & less are we … amen and amen

  63. Dominic Moorhouse says:

    A good fit, but…
The more likely Feast for His birth is Tabernacles or Sukkot which was 26th Sep 3BCE. Why? Because of the mistranslation of the word ‘manger’, which should read ‘tabernacled’. Mary had to sleep in Joseph’s Sukkot, because the inns were all full of all the other visitors for the Feast of Tabernacles later in September.

Also, reference Rev ch12 v1-2 – the above analysis is wrong. It refers to the ‘woman in labour’ or ‘sign of the son of man’ which sign occurred on 23rd Sep 2017. It’s a once in every 7000 year event, having 12 stars in Leo – 9 stars plus Mercury, Venus and Mars, the moon beneath the virgin’s feet, basked in the sun, with Jupiter, the king wandering star, being born from the womb area of virgo – having just completed a retrograde loop of 42 week (the gestation period of a child). Try downloading stellarium to see it, or see here. Melissa doesn’t get the birth date right, but she’s bang on ref 23rd Sep 2017.
Jesus refers to it prophetic ally in Matt ch 24 as being closer to end times, hence why it’s a better fit for 2017, rather than all the perfectly correct conjunctions in 2 and 3 BCE.
The real kicker is what happened 9 months earlier, plus conception time, on 8 Nov 2016: Trump’s election – now there is the relevance of the final Trump…
