Healing Prayer Ministry and Spiritual Support

St. Raphael’s Healing Prayer Ministry addresses the needs of individuals seeking prayer to identify and address anger, sadness, isolation, unforgiveness, negative thoughts or emotions. The Prayer ministry teams are trained in intercessory prayer to help identify and uncover the obstacles preventing individuals from accessing the Father’s forgiveness, mercy and love.

The Process of Healing Prayer

A trained prayer team, including a Lead person and an Intercessor, meets with each individual in a private session to assist them in overcoming the spiritual obstacles they have encountered on their path of Christian discipleship. The team helps them recognize the obstacles which have prevented them from letting go while leading them to take authority over their lives and reclaim their full baptismal gifts through Jesus Christ.

The individual supplicant is guided through five simple steps to identify issues and regain authority over their lives with the Lord’s help, naming and releasing them from these obstacles. Examples of situations where healing prayer can be an effective help for individuals include anywhere in your life where you feel “stuck” and desire greater freedom.

Integration with Christian Life

Healing Prayer does not replace the ordinary means of growth in the Christian life such as personal prayer and the Sacraments. It serves as an additional tool that addresses the specific spiritual influences that are frequently a part of any personal problem.

Christian Healing Center of Naples

Christian Healing Center of Naples, founded in 2016, is a ministry dedicated to bring healing prayer to everyone who seeks prayer. Many people from all walks of life have come and received healing through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Most prayer ministers were trained using materials from the Organization of St. Luke, Physician (OSL). OSL training focuses on learning why and how Jesus gave healing to people as recorded in the Gospels.

Healing prayer ministers do not compete with medical or pastoral professionals, but rather join with them in working for physical, emotional and/or medical healing. The focus of healing prayer is for individuals to experience Jesus’ power and learn that He cares for them.
